We Create You a Customized Treatment Plan

Your pathway to straighter teeth starts with a custom-designed treatment plan.

We’ll use a digital scanner to create a computerized 3D model of your teeth. After creating your 3D model, we outline your Invisalign treatment plan. This plan includes: the results we expect, your treatment length, and the payment arrangements for your Invisalign teeth-straightening solution.

How To Wear Your Aligners

Invisalign’s lab creates your aligners. Once they arrive, we’ll show you how to wear them. We also discuss your aligner exchange schedule.

Your BPA-free clear smooth plastic aligners are custom-made. So, you can expect them to fit well and feel comfortable.

You’ll need to wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day. Therefore, you should only remove your aligners to participate in certain physical activities, eat, drink, brush, and floss.

How Long Does an Invisalign Treatment Take?

There are many factors associated with your transformation timeline. However, adults can usually complete their teeth-straightening treatment in about 12 months. A teenager’s Invisalign treatment typically lasts around 18 months.

Follow Your Aligner Tray Exchange Schedule

Each aligner gently shifts the teeth about 1/10 mm, so your dental professional will let you know how often you should exchange your aligners. Nonetheless, for most patients, it’s every week or two.

Following your exchange schedule is important because each new aligner builds on the previous one. Furthermore, if your schedule is off, your completion time is as well.
